The Falls Music & Arts Festival History
1994
The previous year's festivities created quite a hype among the music industry and, soon enough, some solid Oz acts were putting their respective hands up for a chance to strut their stuff to thousands of grubby campers perched on the natural amphitheatre at the festival. Rock Above the Falls 1994 presented one of Australia's most important indy/alternative acts of the previous decade, Hoodoo Gurus, as well as Tumbleweed, Cosmic Psychos (back for more!), Spiderbait, Nick Barker and Hoss. After the awesome debut of the festival, it was not surprising that all 10,500 tickets sold out well before Christmas.
