The Falls Music & Arts Festival History
2005
“In seven years of going to Falls, there's not been one time where I haven't had a righteous time...each year it surpasses all hopes...in the case of 2005 it kicked more ass than ever before. “Beat Magazine. We tend to agree! Some big changes took place in 2005. More, more, more was the word for entertainment last year with Lorne featuring bands on the 29th December for the first time; The APRA People Stage making its hit debut in Marion Bay; The Valley Cinema schedule taken to a whole new level as well as Films in the Field in Tasmania. The performers were once again sensational and at the heart of The Falls Festival vibe. Amongst the local legends were The Cat Empire, Dallas Crane, Wolfmother and of course Hoodoo Gurus. Equally impressive were emerging talents 67 Special, The Vasco Era, The Grates, The Exploders and Tassie's homegrown Jordan Millar and The Styles. The internationals such as The Dandy Warhols, Eric Bibb, Ozomatli and The Zutons didn't disappoint either and showed why they are worthy on any stage, any country, any time.
